Symantec AntiVirus v3.0 SMTP Gateways Gold Maintenance

Maintain continuity for SMTP gateway protection with a 1-user Gold Maintenance license for Symantec AntiVirus v.3.0. Built for PC deployment on Windows, this academic-priced license is positioned for organizations that need to keep a legacy security stack supported without expanding seat count or procurement complexity. Gold Maintenance helps preserve access to the software entitlement tied to the original deployment, making it easier to keep existing mail security operations aligned with vendor support terms. For teams managing controlled environments, the academic licensing structure can reduce acquisition cost while still matching the exact user count required. This license is suited to infrastructure and procurement teams that need a precise entitlement rather than a broad package. It is a practical fit when the priority is maintaining coverage for a specific SMTP gateway installation, not replatforming the stack. If your environment depends on this version, the value is in staying licensed, supported, and audit-ready with minimal overhead.
