Carry 100 GbE Ethernet traffic over single-mode fiber with the ER4L optical interface in a hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor. This optic supports the 100GBASE-ER4L application, making it suited to long-reach fiber connections where short-reach multimode optics and direct-attach cables cannot span the required path. A duplex LC optical connection provides the physical fiber interface used for the link.
