ACCORTEC GLC-BX-D-I 1000BASE-BX10-D Industrial SFP

Extend a 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection over one strand of single-mode fiber instead of a conventional two-fiber duplex path. ACCORTEC GLC-BX-D-I-ACC is a 1000BASE-BX10-D downstream SFP transceiver for bidirectional optical Ethernet links up to 10 km. Its downstream optical role uses 1490 nm transmit and 1310 nm receive signaling, so it must be paired with the corresponding upstream-side BiDi optic at the remote endpoint. The compact SFP form factor installs into a compatible Cisco Ethernet switch, router, industrial networking device, media converter, or other host with a supported Gigabit SFP slot. A simplex LC fiber connection carries transmit and receive traffic on the same single-mode strand through wavelength division multiplexing. This makes the module suitable for fiber-constrained building links, cabinet-to-cabinet connections, perimeter equipment, and industrial network segments where installing additional fiber is impractical. Industrial-rated construction distinguishes this version from standard commercial-temperature optics intended only for conditioned telecom rooms. The BX10-D designation also matters when selecting both ends of a link: this is the downstream-side transceiver, not an interchangeable duplex SFP and not a substitute for the upstream optical endpoint. Confirm host-platform support for Cisco-compatible SFP optics and match the installed fiber plant, connector type, and remote BiDi wavelength role before deployment.
