MPAFF12BM4A-2M-ACC is specified as a 2 m 12-fiber OM4 50/125 multimode cable assembly. It has female MTP-APC connectors at both ends and uses Method B polarity for the fiber mapping between the two connector ends.
Both ends use female MTP-APC connectors. Female MTP connectors do not contain guide pins, so they are intended to mate with the corresponding pinned MTP interface. Check the connector gender and APC interface of the equipment or fiber hardware before connection.
Method B defines the fiber mapping from one end of the 12-fiber assembly to the other. It must align with the polarity architecture of the connected trunks, cassettes, panels, and optics so transmit and receive paths land on their intended fibers.
A 2 m assembly is suited to short links between nearby high-density fiber panels, cassettes, or equipment interfaces. Its OM4 multimode construction and 12-fiber MTP format support compact optical patching where a defined Method B connection is required.
