The Zebra TC27 is the 5G model of Zebra's third-generation TC2x Series and the successor to the TC26. SKU WCMTA-T27B8ABD8-NA is the higher-memory North America build. It combines 8 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS flash with the SE4710 1D/2D scan engine, 16 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, an 8-pin rear connector and Google Mobile Services. A microSD slot accepts cards up to 2 TB. This configuration uses the 3800 mAh / 14.63 Wh BLE battery. It carries a secondary Bluetooth Low Energy radio for beaconing, so missing devices can be tracked and located even when the battery is dead. That capability requires a separate Zebra Device Tracker licence. Like every TC27 battery, it is user-removable, so a device does not have to leave service to charge. For connectivity, the TC27 offers: - 5G NR Sub-6 (NSA and SA), Gigabit LTE-A, VoLTE and dual SIM/dual standby using one Nano SIM and one eSIM - Private 5G and CBRS private LTE support (CBRS in the US only) - 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6, with Wi-Fi 6E enabled through the Mobility DNA Enterprise License - Bluetooth 5.2 NFC supports contactless payments and is Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap certified. A programmable button can be assigned to push-to-talk. A Qualcomm 5430 hex-core 2.1 GHz processor drives a 6.0 in. 1080 x 2160, 450-nit display under Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is sealed to IP68 and IP65 and drop-tested to MIL-STD-810H, and it operates from 14°F to 122°F. Mobility DNA Professional tools are preloaded at no cost for staging, app control and barcode-to-app data entry.
