The Zebra TC27 is the 5G member of Zebra's third-generation TC2x Series and replaces the TC26. It gives small and mid-size businesses an enterprise handheld at smartphone size. This SKU, WCMTA-T27B6ABE2-NA, is the North America build. It has the SE4710 1D/2D scan engine, 6 GB RAM with 64 GB UFS flash, 16 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, a 2-pin rear connector and Google Mobile Services. Connectivity covers 5G NR Sub-6 (NSA and SA), Gigabit LTE-A, VoLTE and dual SIM/dual standby using one Nano SIM and one eSIM. The TC27 also supports private 5G and CBRS private LTE networks (CBRS in the US only). On the local side it has 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6, with Wi-Fi 6E available through the Mobility DNA Enterprise License, plus Bluetooth 5.2. NFC handles contactless payments and is Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap certified, so it can read wallet-based tickets, loyalty cards and passes. The device runs on a Qualcomm 5430 hex-core 2.1 GHz processor. Zebra rates it at twice the performance of the prior generation. The 6.0 in. 1080 x 2160 display reaches 450 nits and sits under Corning Gorilla Glass, which also protects the scanner exit window.
