The WilsonPro 992204 Crimp Tool is the termination tool for N-type connectors on Wilson's 400-series coax. It uses a hex die and is made for Wilson-400, LMR-400 and LMR-400 Plenum cables. It works with both 50 Ohm LMR-400 Plenum and 50 Ohm Wilson-400 coax, and it is not intended for 75 Ohm RG11. A hex crimp compresses the connector evenly around the cable, and a matched die is what makes that crimp repeatable.
