AT8202 is the model designation for the inline XLR attenuator, while VX50-1-FF-AGP2 is the associated ordering code. Both refer to the same attenuator configuration with selectable -10, -20, and -30 signal-reduction settings.
The AT8202 reduces the level of an audio signal in an XLR connection. Its selectable -10, -20, and -30 attenuation settings allow the installer to choose the amount of level reduction needed before the signal reaches downstream equipment.
Use an inline XLR attenuator when a connected audio source presents more signal level than the next input should receive. Installing attenuation in the signal path provides a physical method of reducing that level at the connection point.
VX50-1-FF-AGP2 provides three selectable attenuation settings: -10, -20, and -30. These fixed choices allow signal reduction to be adjusted for the connected source and downstream input without replacing the inline attenuator.
