Add runtime where it matters most with the Vertiv Liebert PSI5 72 V External Battery Cabinet. Designed for PSI5 UPS deployments, this cabinet expands backup capacity so connected systems can stay online longer during outages, brownouts, and transfer events. It is the right choice when the base UPS protects the load, but the business needs more time for graceful shutdowns, failover, or generator start. For infrastructure teams, the value is straightforward: more battery reserve without replacing the UPS itself. That makes it a cleaner path for sites that have already standardized on PSI5 hardware and need to extend protection for network closets, edge servers, and other critical electronics. The 72 V battery architecture is built to align with the PSI5 platform, helping preserve compatibility and predictable runtime planning. When uptime windows are tight, an external battery cabinet can be the difference between a controlled recovery and an avoidable interruption. This Vertiv cabinet is purpose-built for that role, giving you a more durable backup strategy for systems that cannot afford a short ride-through window.
