Maintain backup coverage for Oracle RAC and mixed Windows, Linux, or UNIX server environments with this Backup Exec 11d licensing package. Designed for PC-supported deployments, it includes the Backup Exec Agent for Windows Systems and the Remote Agent for Linux or UNIX Servers, giving administrators the licensing path needed to keep protected workloads under management. This package is positioned for academic purchasing programs and includes basic maintenance with a 1-year validation period. That matters when you need a controlled, budget-conscious way to extend or preserve agent functionality without overbuying capabilities you do not need. For infrastructure teams supporting legacy Backup Exec estates, the value is in continuity: keep the agent entitlement aligned to the environment, maintain access to the required software components, and avoid disruption in backup administration. If your team is standardizing around Symantec Backup Exec 11d on Windows servers, this license supports that operational model with a clear entitlement structure and language support across all languages. It is a practical fit for organizations that need a specific agent license rather than a broader software bundle, especially where procurement requires precise SKU-level control.
