Maintain backup coverage across mixed server environments with this Symantec competitive upgrade license for Backup Exec 11d. Built for government purchasing workflows, it includes Backup Exec Agent components for Windows systems and remote agents for Linux or UNIX servers, along with support for Oracle RAC on Windows or Linux servers. That combination helps standardize protection across platforms without forcing a full replacement of existing licensing investments. The license is positioned at Price Level A under the Symantec Security License Program: Express, giving procurement teams a clear path for compliant acquisition. One year of basic maintenance is included to support software continuity after deployment. For organizations managing Oracle workloads, Windows servers, and Linux infrastructure under a single backup strategy, this package reduces licensing friction while preserving the operational model already in place. This is a practical fit when you need to extend or refresh backup software rights rather than start over. It is designed for PC-supported environments and aligns with government pricing requirements, making it easier to justify against broader enterprise backup alternatives that may add unnecessary cost or complexity.
