Add runtime where it matters with the Vertiv GXT4-240VBATT external battery cabinet. For teams protecting servers, storage, and network infrastructure, the difference between a graceful shutdown and an abrupt outage is often measured in minutes. This battery pack is designed to extend backup time for compatible Vertiv Liebert GXT4 UPS systems, giving you more margin during utility events and maintenance windows. The unit supports 240 V operation and is matched to high-capacity GXT4 platforms, including 6 kVA configurations. With a 9,000 mAh battery capacity and spill-proof lead-acid construction, it is built for dependable service in rack-based environments. The included rack-mount kit simplifies installation, making it easier to standardize battery expansion across sites. This is the right choice when the base UPS is not enough. Instead of overprovisioning the entire power system, you add the runtime your workload actually needs. That makes the GXT4-240VBATT a practical investment for infrastructure teams that value controlled shutdown time, continuity for critical applications, and a cleaner path to meeting uptime targets.
