Veeam Data Platform Premium Capacity Upgrade

Move an existing Veeam Data Platform Advanced Capacity entitlement to the Premium edition when recovery planning and runbook execution need to sit alongside backup and monitoring. G-DPPNAS-U0-SU1MP-1P is an upgrade license, not a separate appliance, backup repository, or protected-capacity allocation. It changes the edition associated with capacity already covered under the Advanced tier. Premium is the highest Veeam Data Platform edition and extends Advanced with Veeam Recovery Orchestrator capabilities. This adds recovery orchestration for documented, tested recovery plans covering supported workloads. The distinction is relevant where backup completion and operational visibility are already established, but recovery procedures also require structured planning, testing, and coordinated execution. The upgrade remains within the Veeam Data Platform software family and retains the existing capacity-based licensing context. Use this upgrade where the current entitlement is specifically Veeam Data Platform Advanced Capacity and the required destination tier is Premium. Match the capacity quantity being upgraded to the scope of the current entitlement before assignment. The product is a software licensing entitlement with no device interfaces, rack placement, backup-media capacity, or physical installation requirements. Its purpose is to change edition rights for an existing Advanced Capacity deployment rather than introduce an independent backup product.
