Add five Gigabit Ethernet connections to an Omada-managed network without adding fan noise to a work area. The TP-Link Omada ES205G provides five RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 10 Gbps switching capacity, and a 7.4 Mpps forwarding rate for connected workstations, printers, access points, uplinks, and other wired endpoints. Its compact metal enclosure supports desktop and wall mounting where a rack-mounted switch would be excessive. Layer 2 management functions include port mirroring, IGMP snooping, Auto MDI/MDIX, DHCP snooping, and Weighted Round Robin queuing. An 8K MAC address table, 4 Mb packet buffer, and support for 15,000-byte jumbo frames provide the switching resources needed for small wired segments. Centralized cloud-based access through the Omada app places the switch within an Omada SDN management environment. Passive cooling keeps the switch silent while its status indicators provide local operating visibility. The ES205G is differentiated by its five-port footprint and compact 3.9-inch square chassis, making it suitable for branch offices, reception areas, conference rooms, and wall-mounted edge locations where a small managed Gigabit switch is needed. It operates from an internal 5 VDC power supply and is not rack mountable or stackable.
