Twenty-four 2.5GBASE-T access ports provide higher-speed copper connectivity for dense wireless, surveillance, voice, and workstation environments. Eight ports support IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 PoE++ at up to 60 W per port, while the remaining 16 support IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port. A 500 W PoE budget supports a substantial powered-device count without separate midspan injectors. Four 10G SFP+ ports provide fiber or direct-attach uplinks to aggregation switching, servers, or storage. The SG3428XPP-M2 has a 200 Gbps switching capacity and a 148.8 Mpps forwarding rate for simultaneous multi-gig edge traffic and 10G uplink transfers. Link aggregation, IGMP snooping, IPv4 and IPv6 support, DHCP snooping, DoS attack prevention, QoS queuing, and 9,000-byte jumbo frames support controlled network operation. Power management can shut down lower-priority PoE ports when demand exceeds the available budget, preserving power for higher-priority devices. Omada centralized cloud management and the Omada app support remote monitoring and administration alongside the local web management interface. The 1U chassis includes rack-mounting hardware and can also be placed on a desktop. Three fans cool the internal power supply and switching hardware during high-density PoE operation.
