Build a high-speed powered access layer with four 10 GbE RJ45 PoE++ ports and two 10G SFP+ fiber ports. Each copper PoE++ port supports up to 60 W using IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 power, while the switch provides a 200 W total PoE budget. This port combination supports high-bandwidth powered endpoints alongside fiber aggregation or uplink connections. SX3206HPP provides 120 Gb/s switching capacity and an 89.28 Mpps forwarding rate for traffic between 10 Gigabit copper and fiber interfaces. Layer 2 and Layer 3 services include link aggregation, port mirroring, DHCP server functions, IGMP snooping, IPv4, and IPv6 support. A 32K MAC address table, 9,000-byte jumbo frame support, Strict Priority queuing, and Weighted Round Robin scheduling provide tools for handling varied application traffic. Network controls include ACL capability, DHCP snooping, DoS attack prevention, RADIUS authentication, and storm control. The 1U chassis can be installed on a desk or in a rack and uses fan cooling for operation. An internal 100 to 240 VAC power supply supports the switch and its connected PoE++ devices without requiring an external power brick. Micro-USB and RJ45 LAN interfaces provide additional local connectivity options.
