Select EAP650 D120-OUTDOOR when the installation needs an outdoor WiFi 6 access point that directs coverage into an approximately 120° sector. Verify that the planned mounting position faces the intended client area and that the wired network can support its 2.5GbE uplink.
This version concentrates wireless coverage into a 120° directional sector through integrated directional antennas. An omnidirectional access point distributes coverage around its mounting location, while this model is suited to serving a defined area extending away from a wall or pole.
The access point uses a 2.5GbE Ethernet uplink. This provides more wired bandwidth than a 1 Gigabit Ethernet uplink and helps support aggregate traffic from active WiFi 6 clients when the connected switch and cabling also support 2.5GbE operation.
Yes. The access point supports Omada SDN centralized management for configuration and monitoring with compatible Omada network devices. It can also operate in standalone mode where centralized controller-based management is not required for the installation.
