Connect distributed equipment through LTE Cat 4 cellular WAN while retaining local wired and wireless access. The Teltonika RUT241 provides two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 radio and cellular routing in a compact industrial enclosure. RutOS supplies IPv4 and IPv6 networking, DHCP, DNS, NAT, firewall policy, port forwarding, static routes, VLAN controls, traffic controls, diagnostics, configuration backup and firmware management. RUT241094000 is the four-pin-connector hardware-modification variant. Its four-pin DC connector also carries digital input and digital output connections, allowing the router to interface with basic site signals as part of an unattended installation. The unit has a physical SIM slot, external cellular antenna connections, a physical reset control, and power, mobile, signal and Ethernet status indicators. The modem reference for this ordering variant is Quectel EC2 series. Use the router for cellular primary access or automatic WAN failover at remote cabinets, kiosks, machine cells, retail endpoints and building-system controllers. Local administration is available through an HTTPS WebUI and SSH; SMS utilities are available with an active SIM, and Teltonika RMS supports remote management after device adoption. Restrict management access, change default credentials, maintain current firmware and disable services that are not required by the deployment. LTE availability and performance depend on the installed SIM service, antenna system, local signal conditions and mobile operator network.
