The Taoglas CCD017174400D001000 is a straightforward SMA-to-SMA coax extension built on RG-174 cable, measuring 1000mm (about 1 meter or 3.3 feet). One end is a straight SMA male plug and the other a straight SMA female jack, so it functions as a gender-preserving extension: it lengthens an existing SMA antenna connection without requiring an adapter or changing the connector type at either end. RG-174 is a thin, flexible coax commonly used for shorter jumper and extension cables where flexibility and a compact bend radius matter more than minimizing signal loss over long distances. This makes the cable well suited to internal routing within an enclosure, cabinet, or device housing, or for adding a small amount of extra reach between an antenna pigtail and a router, gateway, or modem's SMA port. As a passive cable, it carries RF signal only and includes no electronics. It is intended as a connector-to-connector extension rather than a primary antenna feed line for long outdoor runs.
