StarTech USB4 M.2 NVMe Enclosure 40Gbps

Move PCIe M.2 NVMe storage into a portable enclosure that is built for speed, compatibility, and sustained use. This StarTech USB4 model delivers up to 40 Gbps through a USB4 host and remains compatible with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB 3.2 systems, making it a practical fit for mixed laptop and workstation fleets. It supports B+M and M-Key NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 lengths, so teams can standardize on the drive sizes already in circulation. The aluminum heatsink cover and thermal pad are designed to help dissipate heat during large transfers, disk cloning, and backup operations where throttling can slow the job. For IT departments, this enclosure is useful when speed matters more than convenience-grade storage. It gives technicians a compact way to stage images, move datasets, or validate drives without tying up a full desktop chassis. The result is faster turnaround for deployment, recovery, and diagnostics using hardware that is easy to carry and straightforward to deploy.
