StarTech CONNLOCKPK5 Security Tether Cables 5 Pack

Protect high-value cables and adapters from loss with a simple physical tethering solution built for shared environments. These universal steel tether cables help keep the right accessory attached to the right device in boardrooms, classrooms, lecture halls, lobbies, and workstations where equipment is frequently moved or handled by multiple users. Each tether measures 11.8 in, giving enough reach to secure adapters and cables without creating unnecessary slack. The steel construction adds a stronger physical deterrent than plastic ties or adhesive-based retention methods, while the black heat-shrink covers help the installation look more deliberate and less improvised. Installation requires a crimping tool, which is not included, making this a practical choice for teams that already maintain basic cable service tools. The 5-pack format supports multiple endpoints in a single deployment, whether you are standardizing meeting rooms, protecting classroom AV accessories, or reducing replacement costs in public areas. For organizations that need a low-profile way to reduce cable loss, this tether set delivers a straightforward layer of physical security without changing the equipment itself.
