Create usable rack space where equipment does not justify a full enclosure. The StarTech CABSHELF22 adds a fixed 2U shelf to standard 19-inch server racks and cabinets, giving you a clean place for A/V gear, LAN switches, patch panels, KVMs, and service tools. Its 22-inch depth supports compact deployments while preserving front-access serviceability. Built for environments that demand predictable support, this shelf carries up to 50 lb and is designed for front-mount installation in compatible racks. That makes it a strong choice for infrastructure teams that need to stage non-rackmount devices without improvising with unstable surfaces or oversized enclosures. TAA compliance matters when procurement must align with public-sector requirements, and RoHS compliance supports responsible deployment standards. With a lifetime warranty and a straightforward fixed-shelf design, this model is positioned for long service life in server rooms, network closets, and cabinet-based installations where reliability and fit matter more than extras.
