Key Features

DVI to HDMI signal extension over Cat5e
Mini-extender hardware for space-constrained installs
Designed for structured cabling environments
Supports remote display placement
Compact endpoint footprint
Hardware-only AV connectivity solution

Push DVI video farther without pulling a dedicated long-run video cable. This SIIG mini-extender is designed to carry a DVI source to an HDMI display over Cat5e infrastructure, making it a practical fit for conference rooms, digital signage, classrooms, and control spaces where cable paths are already in place. The compact form factor helps simplify installation in tight spaces and reduces clutter at the endpoint. By using Cat5e as the transport medium, it can fit into existing structured cabling environments and avoid the cost and disruption of replacing in-wall runs. That makes it a strong choice when you need dependable video extension without redesigning the room. For IT and AV teams, the value is in the deployment flexibility. It supports cleaner retrofits, easier endpoint placement, and a more controlled installation footprint than ad hoc long HDMI runs. When the job calls for a straightforward way to bridge DVI source equipment to HDMI displays over existing copper, this extender keeps the path efficient and the setup manageable.
