Maintain connectivity where wired service is limited, delayed, or too costly to extend. The Sierra Wireless LX40 is built for cellular networking scenarios that depend on stable remote access, backup communications, and straightforward deployment. With LTE/HSPA+ support, it gives IT teams a practical way to connect distributed locations without overbuilding the edge. The included 1-year AirLink Complete package adds value for organizations that want a defined service term alongside the hardware. That matters when the router is part of a managed rollout, a temporary deployment, or a standardized refresh cycle. Instead of piecing together support and connectivity separately, this model packages the essentials into a single purchase. For branch offices, remote equipment, and backup network paths, the LX40 is positioned for reliability and operational clarity. It is the kind of cellular gateway chosen when the goal is to keep sites reachable, reduce deployment friction, and avoid the hidden costs that come with under-specified hardware.
