The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is Samsung's rugged, cellular-capable smartwatch for people who work or train away from their phone. This US model (SM-L715UZKAXAA, XAA unlocked US variant) pairs a 47mm Titanium Gray case with a Black Marine Band in Medium/Large. It connects over LTE through an embedded SIM, and it also supports Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and dual-frequency GPS (L1+L5) with GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. LTE availability depends on your region and carrier.
The watch is built for hard use. Samsung rates the titanium body to IP69K, 10 ATM, MIL-STD-810H and EN13319, and supports dive tracking down to 40 meters. The 1.5-inch 498 x 498 Super AMOLED display reaches 5,000 nits. The watch has three widely spaced buttons that you can use with gloves on, and the orange Quick Button is easy to find by feel. The 800 mAh battery is rated for up to 60 hours with Always On Display on and up to 80 hours with it off. The included Fast Wireless Charger reaches 40% in about 30 minutes when paired with a 5V/2A or higher PD adapter.
The safety features matter for field staff and outdoor users. Fall detection checks in with you after a hard fall and contacts help if you don't respond. Pressing the home button five times calls emergency services. Holding the Quick Button for five seconds sounds an 86-decibel siren that carries up to 180 meters. For navigation and training, it offers GPX route guidance with Track Back and Climb Guidance, and Energy Score, Vitals, sleep apnea detection and Heart Health Score cover health. Samsung lists security updates through 31 July 2031.
