Put the FortiSwitch 108F where it belongs: in the rack, secured and ready for production use. The RackMount.IT RM-FR-T17 is a dedicated rack mount kit built for this specific switch model, giving infrastructure teams a cleaner installation path than generic brackets or improvised hardware. Purpose-built mounting matters when you want consistent alignment, easier service access, and a deployment that looks as disciplined as the network it supports. A dedicated kit also helps reduce installation friction. Instead of adapting a universal solution, you get hardware intended for the FortiSwitch 108F, which simplifies planning and helps standardize rack layouts across sites. That is especially valuable in environments where repeatability, maintenance access, and presentation all matter. For teams managing branch, campus, or edge network closets, this kit turns a desktop or shelf-mounted switch into a proper rack component. The result is a cleaner footprint, better use of rack space, and a more maintainable installation over time.
