Promise Technology KYSSSD3Y 3-Year SAS SSD Disposal

Reduce exposure at the end of the storage lifecycle with a 3-year SAS SSD disposal service for Promise Technology VTrak x5000 systems. This service is designed for organizations that need a documented path for retiring solid-state drives without leaving disposal decisions to ad hoc internal processes. For infrastructure teams, the value is control. When SSDs are removed from service, they can still contain sensitive operational data, configuration traces, and business records. A defined disposal service helps standardize how those drives are handled, supporting cleaner audit trails and more disciplined asset retirement practices. This offering is a practical fit for environments where storage refreshes are routine and data governance matters. It pairs naturally with planned maintenance windows, controller upgrades, and capacity changes, giving procurement and operations teams a straightforward way to align hardware retirement with compliance expectations. Choose this service when the cost of uncertainty is higher than the cost of formal disposal coverage. It adds structure to a process many teams overlook until the last minute, helping protect the storage estate beyond the active service life of the hardware.
