Promise Technology KYSSSD2Y 2-Year SSD Disposal for VTrak x5000

Keep storage decommissioning aligned with data-handling policy through a 2-year SAS SSD disposal service for Promise VTrak x5000 systems. This service is built for organizations that cannot treat retired flash media as ordinary hardware. It supports controlled disposal of SAS SSDs, helping reduce the chance of residual data exposure when drives leave the rack. For infrastructure teams, the value is in process discipline. Instead of ad hoc disposal decisions, you get a defined service tied to the VTrak x5000 platform and the specific SSD lifecycle. That matters when storage arrays are refreshed under audit pressure, when chain-of-custody expectations are strict, or when retired media must be handled consistently across sites. This 2-year coverage window gives procurement and operations teams a clear planning horizon for refresh cycles and end-of-life workflows. It is a practical fit for enterprises that want disposal handled as part of the support model, not as an afterthought. For environments where data retention, compliance, and asset retirement all intersect, this service helps close the loop with less operational friction.
