Promise Technology VTrak D/E5000 6th Year Extended Warranty

Keep a proven VTrak D/E5000 platform in service with a sixth-year extended warranty designed for systems shipped without HDD. This service helps extend the useful life of installed storage infrastructure by preserving support coverage after the standard warranty window closes. For teams running stable workloads on existing Promise arrays, year-six coverage can be the difference between controlled operations and unplanned replacement pressure. It supports long-term asset planning, helps align maintenance with depreciation cycles, and reduces the risk of unsupported hardware becoming a hidden liability. This offering is well suited for organizations that have standardized on VTrak D/E5000 and want to keep that investment productive while deferring refresh decisions. It is a practical fit when the enclosure, controllers, and platform architecture remain valuable, but the business needs additional coverage before a full migration. Because this is a warranty extension for a specific model family and configuration, it is intended for precise lifecycle management rather than broad coverage. That specificity is what makes it valuable: you get targeted support continuity for the exact platform already in production.
