Maintain WAN connectivity for remote equipment, branch networks and industrial cabinets over LTE-Advanced Pro cellular service. The Perle IRG5540+ combines 4G LTE-A Pro connectivity with four 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, two SIM slots and VPN support. Its stated 600 Mbps cellular throughput supports bandwidth-intensive remote access, while dual-SIM operation provides a path for carrier redundancy where more than one cellular service is required. Connect Ethernet devices, serial equipment and control signals from one cellular gateway. In addition to Gigabit Ethernet, the router provides Wi-Fi, USB 3.2 and serial connectivity, with RS-232, RS-485, alarm relay and multiple I/O interfaces for attached equipment. It supports LTE Advanced, HSPA, HSPA+, DC-HSPA+ and UMTS cellular technologies across a broad set of LTE and WCDMA bands. Cloud hosting supports remote network deployment and management, while out-of-band management supports troubleshooting when the primary network path is unavailable. Part number 08000284 identifies the four-Ethernet-port IRG5540+ configuration. Within the IRG5540+ family, its LTE-A Pro 600 Mbps capability and four-port Ethernet layout distinguish it from two-port configurations. Install the unit on a DIN rail, panel, wall or desktop to suit control enclosures, communications cabinets and remote-site equipment areas. The advanced feature set does not require annual fees.
