Bring disciplined control to conference-room discussions with a wired chairman microphone unit designed for PeopleLink conference systems. The PPU-WR-CMU uses CAT5 cabling and includes an OLED screen, giving the chair a dedicated interface that fits formal meeting environments where clarity and control matter. This unit is intended to connect to a PL-CSC controller through cabling, with installation components procured separately. That architecture supports a more deliberate room design: centralized control, defined wiring paths, and a setup that can be maintained by IT or AV teams without guesswork. For organizations that run boardrooms, council chambers, training rooms, or other moderated spaces, that level of structure is valuable. The appeal is not just functionality, but operational discipline. A wired chairman unit avoids battery management, reduces RF concerns, and keeps the system anchored to the room infrastructure. For buyers comparing lower-cost alternatives, this model stands out when reliability, control hierarchy, and installation consistency are more important than convenience features.
