Keep legacy and modern peripherals connected with this Panasonic rear expansion XPAK for the FZ-55 platform. It adds VGA, true serial, and USB-A interfaces in the rear expansion area, giving field teams the ports they still need for projectors, diagnostic tools, barcode equipment, and serial-based devices. For organizations that standardize on Toughbook systems, this module helps reduce adapter clutter and keeps the notebook ready for work in the vehicle, on the bench, or at the point of service. True serial support matters in environments where older equipment and industrial interfaces remain part of daily operations, while VGA remains useful for meeting rooms, service carts, and installed display hardware that has not yet moved to newer standards. Designed for FZ-55 Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 systems, the XPAK integrates into the rear expansion area to preserve the platform’s rugged profile. It is a practical choice when compatibility matters more than chasing newer port standards, and when uptime depends on having the right connection on the machine itself.
