This dash mount solution is a customer-specific configuration built around the Panasonic A3, intended for passenger truck installations where a full docking cradle is not part of the deployment. Instead of a traditional dock-based cradle, the mount secures the device directly to the vehicle dash, giving drivers and field crews a fixed, accessible viewing and operating position without the added hardware footprint of a dock. This type of no-dock arrangement is typically chosen by fleet operators who want to keep the in-cab installation compact, reduce the number of components mounted near the dash, or standardize a specific mounting layout across a vehicle fleet. Because it is configured for the Panasonic A3 specifically, the mount is built to match that device's form factor rather than serving as a universal fit for other Panasonic computers or tablets. As a customer-specific solution, this mount reflects a particular installation requirement rather than a general-purpose retail accessory, so exact dimensions, mounting-arm hardware, and attachment points are configured to the original deployment. Fleet and field-operations teams evaluating a similar no-dock dash mount for their own Panasonic A3 vehicles should confirm the mounting-arm and dash-attachment details align with their vehicle interior before installation.
