OWC Express 1M2 80G USB4 NVMe Enclosure

Push NVMe performance into a portable enclosure designed for serious storage workloads. OWC Express 1M2 80G pairs USB4 80 Gb/s connectivity with support for NVMe M.2 2230, 2242, and 2280 SSDs, giving teams a compact way to build fast external storage without sacrificing flexibility. With over 6,000 MB/s potential throughput, it is built for editors moving 8K footage, engineers handling large datasets, and IT teams standardizing high-speed removable storage. The solid aluminum enclosure is more than a shell. It helps dissipate heat and adds physical protection for the installed SSD, which matters when sustained transfers are part of the job. Bus-powered operation keeps the setup clean and mobile, reducing cable clutter and eliminating the need for an external power brick. Compatibility with USB4 and Thunderbolt systems makes it easy to deploy across modern Mac and PC environments. For organizations that value speed, portability, and control over the SSD inside, this enclosure delivers a premium foundation for custom external storage. It is a practical choice when off-the-shelf portable drives are too limiting and internal expansion is not an option.
