OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad Enc 4-Bay RAID

Maintain fast access to large datasets with a 4-bay external storage enclosure designed for demanding desktop workflows. The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs, giving you flexibility to balance capacity, performance, and cost across backup, media, and archive jobs. With software RAID support for RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 1+0 (10), and JBOD, this enclosure adapts to the protection model your environment requires. Use RAID 0 for maximum throughput, RAID 5 for a stronger balance of speed and fault tolerance, or JBOD when you want each drive presented independently. The enclosure is rated for up to 1,000 MB/s, making it suitable for high-volume file transfers and sustained workstation use. For IT teams and content professionals, the value is in flexibility. You can standardize on a single enclosure while choosing the drive mix that fits each deployment. That makes the Mercury Elite Pro Quad a practical fit for backup targets, media libraries, and local working storage where reliability and access speed both matter.
