Symantec VERITAS Cluster Server v5.1 HA/DR Crossgrade 1 Server

Keep critical Unix services available with a VERITAS Cluster Server v.5.1 HA/DR crossgrade license for 1 server. This entitlement is built for organizations moving from an existing VERITAS Cluster Server deployment and need a defined path to maintain continuity while aligning licensing with current infrastructure requirements. The crossgrade format is useful when you already have a qualifying base product and want to preserve investment while updating the license position. For HA/DR environments, that matters: clustered systems are often purchased to reduce downtime risk, protect service continuity, and support operational recovery objectives. Tier E pricing and the Symantec Buying Program: Rewards make this a fit for larger procurement programs where license structure, upgrade path, and server count must be clearly documented. If your Unix environment depends on clustered availability, this license supports that posture with a precise entitlement rather than a broad, generic package.
