Place a large display on a column and choose either portrait or landscape orientation with this Commercial Series mounting accessory. The column-mount format addresses display installations where a column is the appropriate support location, allowing the screen to occupy a visible central position without relying on a conventional wall surface. It is intended for large-screen audiovisual and commercial display applications. Portrait orientation suits vertically formatted information, directories, and menu content, while landscape orientation accommodates standard widescreen video, presentation, and signage layouts. Supporting both orientations lets an installation align the physical display position with the content format in use. This flexibility is useful where screen orientation is determined by the viewing environment rather than by the mounting location alone. MONOPRICE 49342 differs within the Commercial Series mounting range through its column-mount configuration for large screens and its stated support for both portrait and landscape placement. Select it for installations that require a display mounted at a column location and need the orientation choice to remain open during system planning. Verify the display mounting interface and the column or structural support arrangement before installation.
