Bridge a Micro HDMI output to an HDMI cable connection without replacing the cable already installed at the display or AV endpoint. MONOPRICE 7603 uses a Micro HDMI male connector on the device side and an HDMI female connector on the cable side. Its black finish makes it easy to identify among other compact video connection accessories. The adapter fits installations where the source device has a smaller Micro HDMI port but the downstream display path terminates in HDMI. Plug the Micro HDMI male end into the source device, then connect an HDMI cable to the female port. This connector arrangement is useful at conference tables, camera stations, mobile presentation setups, display carts, and other locations where a compact source device must join an existing HDMI cable run. Select this adapter when the required connection is specifically Micro HDMI male to HDMI female. It changes the physical connector relationship between the source device and the HDMI cable; it does not replace the HDMI cable itself. Check the source device for a Micro HDMI port and verify that the cable being attached has the corresponding HDMI male connector. For installations with video-format, resolution, or cable-length requirements, validate the complete source, cable, and display path together.
