Lenovo 5WS1X47480 4-Year Premium Care Plus Upgrade

Extend an eligible Lenovo system’s original three-year onsite service to a four-year Premium Care Plus term while adding four-year battery-upgrade coverage. 5WS1X47480 is a Lenovo service entitlement for a covered system rather than a replacement battery or hardware component. It changes the support coverage attached to the system; it does not change processor, memory, storage, networking, or other installed hardware. For organizations standardizing on a four-year ownership period, the entitlement aligns the support term and battery coverage at four years instead of retaining the original three-year onsite arrangement. The starting entitlement matters: this option is for systems carrying the qualifying three-year onsite service. Select it only where the installed system’s machine type and existing service level are eligible for the upgrade. Premium Care Plus is the service level named by this option, while the battery upgrade is called out separately at the same four-year duration. That combination distinguishes it from a simple term extension. System eligibility and the existing service baseline determine whether the entitlement can be attached, because the service code does not identify a specific Lenovo computer model.
