The Lantronix G526GP1AS is an industrial LTE Cat-4 cellular gateway for factory equipment, vehicles, utility sites and remote assets in North America. It is the Industrial model of the Lantronix G520 Series, built around Ethernet, serial, I/O and a fieldbus protocol conversion suite. This SKU carries the North America (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) band set: B2, B4, B5, B10, B12, B13, B14, B17, B25, B26, B66 and B71. On the WAN side, two mechanically secured mini-SIM holders provide dual SIM with single standby. Ethernet, cellular and Wi-Fi can be configured for failover or load balancing, and connectivity and application watchdogs keep the link up. Locally, the gateway offers two 10/100 Ethernet ports (one WAN, reconfigurable as a second LAN), 2T2R Wi-Fi 5 as client or access point for about 12 users, Bluetooth/BLE 5.1, full RS-232 on a 9-pin sub-D, RS-485 on a 5-pin COMBICON header, a USB Type-A host port, two user-configurable I/Os (analogue, 4-20 mA current loop or digital output), an ignition pin and CAN bus. The software suite covers the industrial protocols EtherCAT, DLMS client, DNP3 Outstation, Modbus master, IEC 104 slave and IEC 101 master. It also includes a zone-based firewall, VLAN, DMZ and SIM PIN, plus OpenVPN, IPsec (up to 4 channels), WireGuard, GRE, L2TP and PPTP client. Devices can be managed through Lantronix Percepxion or third-party platforms, including TR-069. Developers can build custom packages and firmware with the G520 SDK in Python or C/C++. The hardware runs a 600 MHz ARM926EJ-S CPU with 256 MB DDR2 RAM, 256 MB NAND storage and a microSD slot. A last-gasp battery gives roughly 100 seconds of power after an outage, and an RTC keeps time through power loss. The unit accepts 10.8-60 V DC and measures 131.5 x 81.27 x 25 mm.
