The Linea Pro Rugged 16e from IPCMobile turns an iPhone 16e or 17e into a secure 1D/2D barcode scanner. Staff keep the familiar iPhone interface, and the sled adds a scan engine, extra battery power and ruggedized protection. Part number LPR-ZS2D-PH6E uses a standard-range 2D scanner and does not include the HF RFID contactless reader, which is offered as LPR-ZS2DHF-PH6E. The scanner reads a broad set of symbologies. Supported 1D codes include UPC/EAN, Code 128, GS1-128, GS1 DataBar and Interleaved 2of5. Supported 2D codes include QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec and Passport MRZ. It also reads postal codes such as Intelligent Mail Barcode and POSTNET. Dual scan buttons and programmable buttons let operators trigger scans and specific actions. Buttons also give access to the iPhone's power/lock, volume and mute controls. The sled is built for the shop floor. It is IP65 rated and survives 1.2 m drops to concrete per MIL-STD-810G. It measures 84 x 171.5 x 28.4 mm and weighs 181 g. The 3.6 V / 2330 mAh lithium-ion battery is swappable and supports backup charging and battery sharing, so devices can stay in service across shifts. The sled charges at 5 V DC through USB-C or the dock connector and supports pass-through sync and serial communication over USB-C. It also includes a SAM holder. For deployment, QWedge sends barcode data to any iOS app with no code. QBrowser lets web apps interact with the sled, and IPCSupport handles firmware updates, diagnostics and settings. An SDK for Xcode and Visual Studio (MAUI) supports custom apps. Optional accessories include the Flex Case, Pistol Grip, Pistol Grip Charger and 1 or 5 Unit Charging Stations. A user manual and quick start guide are available.
