IOGEAR GUB431 4-Port USB 2.0 Automatic Printer Switch

Consolidate shared printing and peripheral access with a compact desktop switch designed for busy workspaces. The IOGEAR GUB431 lets four PCs and/or Macs share one printer or multifunction printer, automatically switching to the computer that sends the job. That means fewer interruptions, less cable handling, and faster access to shared devices. Beyond printing, the switch can also share one external hard drive, scanner, or other USB device across four systems, making it a practical fit for teams that need flexible access without adding extra hardware. USB 2.0 connectivity keeps the setup straightforward, while the automatic switching behavior helps reduce user error and support calls. For procurement teams, the value is in simplicity and control: one shared device, four users, and no manual port changes. The desktop form factor fits cleanly on a workstation or equipment shelf, and the 3-year limited warranty adds confidence for long-term deployment. When a lower-cost manual switch would slow users down, this model earns its place by removing friction from everyday workflows.
