Inseego Wavemaker FX4200 5G Cellular Router with Wi-Fi 7 and 3-Year Inseego Connect Bundle

The Inseego Wavemaker 5G Cellular Router FX4200 is an all-in-one indoor 5G router for branch offices, retail sites and hybrid-work locations. It can serve as the primary WAN or as failover protection. This SKU bundles the router with a three-year Inseego Connect subscription and support term, so hardware and cloud management are procured together. The FX4200 runs on the Qualcomm Dragonwing FWA Gen 3 Platform with a quad-core processor. Inseego rates it at up to 7.5 Gbps down and 3 Gbps up. It supports 5G NR in SA and NSA modes with 3x downlink and 2x uplink carrier aggregation, 4x4 MIMO, and 4G LTE Cat 20 fallback. Uptime is covered on two fronts. Two nano SIM slots give automated WAN failover and failback between carriers, and a rechargeable Li-ion backup battery keeps the router running through power outages. The unit is certified for T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T. Six internal WWAN antennas handle cellular reception out of the box, and four SMA ports accept external full-spectrum antennas where signal is weak. On the LAN side, the FX4200 provides two 2.5 GbE and two 1 GbE RJ45 ports plus USB 3.1 Type-C data. Wi-Fi 7 with 2x2 MU-MIMO runs at full 30 dBm AP power, with primary and guest networks. It supports wired and wireless mesh with the optional Wavemaker Mesh Wi-Fi X700. A single-line display and status LEDs show signal and mesh pairing, which helps you place the unit during setup. Security and management are built for IT teams. The router offers FIPS 140-3 OpenSSL, secure boot, IPsec and OpenVPN, network slicing, a firewall and WPA2/3 Enterprise. Through Inseego Connect and the Inseego Mobile app, administrators get zero-touch deployment, bulk configuration, firmware scheduling, remote diagnostics, alerts, GPS location and API integration.
