The InHand Networks ODU2002 is an outdoor 5G router for fixed wireless access and backup connectivity. It mounts on a wall or pole where the cellular signal is strongest and delivers the connection to the indoor network over a single PoE Ethernet cable. This listing, ODU2002-NAVA-5Y/ODU2002-TM-5Y, covers the two North American models. ODU2002-NAVA is the Verizon configuration. ODU2002-NATM, listed here as TM, is the T-Mobile configuration. The cellular radio supports 5G SA/NSA at up to 4.76 Gbps downlink and 1.25 Gbps uplink, with LTE Cat 19 fallback at up to 1.6 Gbps/200 Mbps. Six Sub-6 antennas cover 600–5000 MHz at 6.46 dBi gain on TNC connectors, and GNSS and Wi-Fi antennas are also included. The router is rated for up to 2 Gbps throughput and 200 users. Two hot-swap nano-SIM slots (eSIM optional) provide carrier redundancy. Two switchable 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports support WAN/LAN, packet-by-packet load balancing and IP Passthrough. Both use the same ODU2002 hardware with different North American radio configurations. NATM (TM) is the T-Mobile configuration, supporting 5G n25/41/66/71, LTE B2/4/5/12/66/71, B41 and LAA B46.

How is the ODU2002 powered?▾

It is powered over Ethernet through its LAN port, supporting 802.3af/at PoE at 15 W or less. A PoE adapter AC cord and Ethernet cable are included in the standard package, so one cable carries both power and data to the outdoor unit.

Does the ODU2002 support failover and dual SIM?▾

Yes. It has two hot-swap nano-SIM slots with optional eSIM, dual-SIM switching and cellular auto redial. It also supports 5G/wired backup with packet-by-packet load balancing, link priority adjustment and real-time monitoring of delay, jitter and packet loss.
