ICY DOCK TOUGHARMOR MB994IKO-3SB 2x 2.5" Metal Bay

Protect high-value 2.5-inch drives with a metal dual-bay enclosure designed for systems where access control matters. The ICY DOCK TOUGHARMOR MB994IKO-3SB fits two 2.5-inch drives into a compact odd-bay format, giving integrators a clean way to add secure removable storage without sacrificing chassis space. Its keyed lock helps restrict physical access to the drives, a practical advantage in shared workstations, edge systems, and service environments where data integrity is tied to hardware control. The all-metal construction adds the durability expected in long-life deployments, while the hot-swap design supports faster drive service and replacement when uptime matters. This is the kind of component that earns its place in premium builds: not just a bay adapter, but a controlled access point for storage that may hold active workloads, backups, or sensitive project data. For teams standardizing on 2.5-inch media, it offers a tighter, more secure fit than lower-cost plastic alternatives and a more dependable mechanical feel for repeated use.
