ICY DOCK MB411SPO-1B 12.7mm 2.5" Hot-Swap Rack

Make better use of a 12.7 mm optical bay by converting it into accessible 2.5-inch storage. The ICY DOCK TOUGHARMOR MB411SPO-1B is designed for systems where every internal slot matters, giving IT teams a clean way to add a hot-swap drive position without relying on external adapters or leaving storage exposed inside the chassis. This form factor is especially useful in compact desktops, embedded systems, and service-oriented workstations that still need removable storage. Trayless access streamlines drive changes, while the front-loading design keeps maintenance simple for technicians who need to replace, image, or rotate drives quickly. It is a practical choice when you want the convenience of a removable drive bay in the space normally reserved for an optical device. For deployments that value physical density, serviceability, and a more disciplined internal build, the MB411SPO-1B offers a focused solution. It helps preserve the chassis footprint while adding a dedicated 2.5-inch hot-swap location that is easier to manage than improvised mounting hardware.
