Keep encrypted tape environments under control with HPE Spectra SKLM Basic software installation and 5-day Pro SVC. This offering is built for organizations that need to establish or extend tape key management with minimal disruption to backup operations. By pairing software installation with short-term professional services, it helps reduce deployment friction and accelerates time to value for security-conscious infrastructure teams. For enterprises that depend on tape for retention, recovery, or air-gapped protection, key management is not a side task. It is part of the control plane. Spectra SKLM Basic is positioned to support that requirement with a focused implementation path, giving administrators a cleaner way to introduce policy-driven encryption management into existing backup workflows. The result is tighter operational control, fewer manual steps, and a more disciplined approach to protecting archived data. This package is well suited to environments where tape remains a strategic storage tier and where security, compliance, and recoverability must stay aligned. The included professional services help ensure the installation is completed with the right configuration context, making this a practical choice for teams that value precision over guesswork.
