HID Global EL-ACI-UPGRD Access Control Integration Upgrade

Bring an existing access control integration forward to the latest available version with HID Global EL-ACI-UPGRD. This product is an upgrade for physical-security access control integration rather than a controller, reader, credential, enclosure, or mounting component. It addresses the version level of the integration layer used alongside an established access control environment. Select it when the required outcome is an integration update instead of additional field hardware. Access control integrations commonly provide the connection between access-management functions and the wider security environment. Maintaining the applicable integration version can be important when an installed environment is being updated or standardized. This upgrade is scoped to that integration function, making it distinct from hardware used at doors, panels, or credential issuance points. Compatibility should be checked against the installed access control integration and its current version before the upgrade is applied. EL-ACI-UPGRD identifies the upgrade order for the latest version of an access control integration. Its defining characteristic is upgrade scope: it updates an existing integration requirement rather than establishing a new physical access-control deployment. The product therefore fits environments where the installed integration remains in place and the version level requires updating. It is not described as a replacement for access-control field devices or as a hardware expansion component.
