HES 9400 Electric Strike with Latchbolt Monitor

Control electrically released access points while retaining a monitored indication of latchbolt condition. HES 9400-630-LBM combines an electric strike function with LBM latchbolt monitoring, giving a door-control system a status point associated with the latchbolt. That distinction supports installations where door hardware status needs to be evaluated alongside a release command rather than treated as an unmonitored output. Use the strike at a controlled opening where compatible door hardware engages the strike and an access-control system authorizes release. The latchbolt monitor adds feedback for door-control logic, event reporting, and troubleshooting of a latchbolt condition. It is suited to security doors that require both controlled entry and a monitored hardware signal, without adding a separate latchbolt sensing device at the opening. This configuration combines the 9400 series platform, a 630 satin stainless architectural finish, and the LBM monitoring option. Specify the finish where exposed hardware must align with surrounding satin stainless trim or door hardware. Select the monitored version when the access-control design requires a latchbolt-related status input; installations that only require electrical release do not gain that monitoring function. Verify compatibility with the installed lock or exit hardware, frame preparation, power system, and control-panel input requirements before installation.
