JBL M2 Reference Monitor | Harman 2-Way Floor Standing, Studio

Make final mix and mastering decisions with a monitor designed for rooms where accuracy matters more than hype. The JBL M2 is a 2-way master reference monitor intended for floor-standing or soffit-mounted installation, giving professional studios a fixed playback anchor for critical evaluation. Its purpose is not to flatter material, but to reveal balance, imaging, and tonal issues before they leave the room. For infrastructure-minded audio teams, the value is consistency. A reference monitor in this class is chosen when smaller nearfields no longer provide enough scale, headroom, or confidence for high-stakes production work. The M2 fits control rooms, mastering suites, and premium post-production environments where repeatable monitoring is part of the workflow. Because this model is positioned as a master reference system, it supports the kind of listening environment where every decision has downstream cost. That makes it a stronger fit than entry-level studio speakers for teams that need dependable playback at professional scale. If your room demands a monitor that can serve as the final word in translation, the M2 belongs in the conversation.
